The White House has just announced today that FBI Director James Comey was fired. This was the result from the recommendations of Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein.
Statement from the White house Press Secretary:
The White House announced Tuesday afternoon that FBI Director James Comey was fired.
“Today, President Donald J. Trump informed FBI Director James Comey that he has been terminated and removed from office, President Trump acted based on the clear recommendations of both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.”
Spicer added, “The search for a new permanent FBI Director will begin immediately”.
James Comey was appointed Director of the FBI by Former President Barack Obama on September 2013. Comey oversaw the Hilary Clinton email scandal. Under his decision not to file charges against Clinton, where he said that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.” This was a false claim. Comey had enough evidence to charge and possibly convict Hillary Clinton. Many prosecutors have made similar charges with less evidence. Sources report that Federal Agents handling the case disagreed with Comey’s decision, causing a rift within the department. Also, Comey made a immunity deal that the FBI wouldn’t review any emails between Cheryl Mills and Paul Combetta. The computer technician at Platte River Networks who wiped Hillary Clinton’s private email server clean with BleachBit. The FBI knew that when it signed those deals. Comey may have lied to Congress and to the public. Breitbart web site posted a story on September 2016, delineating a set of alleged financial ties between FBI Director James Comey and Hillary Clinton. All shows suspicion on Comey’s lack of duty for the American People in the highest respected law enforcement office in the land.
