In today’s issue: Savage recalled receiving a letter and a book a few months ago from George C. Wallace Jr., son of the late former Democratic Alabama governor and four-time presidential candidate.

“Many of you have forgotten him. But much of what is going on in America today relates very much to Governor George Wallace,” Savage said.

“And his son wrote an interesting book called ‘Governor George Wallace: The Man You Never Knew.’ And out of the blue, I received the book with a beautiful letter, which I’m going to read to you,” he said.

“Now, remember, George Wallace was a segregationist. He was as hard of a segregationist as they come. And then someone shot him, crippled him and left him in a wheelchair.”

Savage continued:

And you know nothing about George Wallace after that. All you know is what the vermin in the media have told you about him. They’ve never forgiven him. They never, ever forgive anyone.

And they keep smearing you in ways that are so sickening.

Why don’t they continue to tell us that Jesse Jackson, as a youth, was a racist? Jesse Jackson wrote that he spit in the food of white people, and he worked in a hotel.

Why don’t they talk about Al Sharpton, with the bullhorn outside of Freddy’s Fashion Mart, egging people on, that caused the blaze that killed 13 people or so people?
