Sloppy Stephen Bannon: Trump’s Dispensable Indispensable!
By now, almost everyone has watched the rise and fall of the imperious Stephen Bannon. He was the polymath narcissist who climbed up the slimy pole of politics all by himself. Yet, because of the colicky utterances of a six year old child he was ostracized from the White House, Breitbart, and the Mercer Foundation.
How did this all happen within the blink of an eye?
I don’t know him! Guess, I never will. Nor, do I wish him ill-will. However, the minute Bannon appeared on the stage of Republican politics with the ferocity and dedicated self-aggrandizement of a proctologist examining the entrails of life, Stephen was on a course of self-destruction.
I knew that his incessant history of manipulating people and organizations to his sole purpose—Goldman Sachs, Hollywood, Navy, Republican Politics, Mercer family—was simply a manifestation of an ego that had never really encountered humility or serious failure. For the most part, his history reads like a second-hand novel where the hero, a poor Southern Democrat from rural Virginia, vowed to ascend to the pinnacles of financial, political, and social success at all cost.
Bannon’s brash personality guided his egregious temperament full speed ahead, eliminating foe and friend alike. His personae is well–known to intelligence/ foreign policy operatives like myself. I have seen the Bannons over a forty year career in the USG, intelligence/ military services, and in Hollywood.
